Beautiful oil cityscape of Stockholm’s old town (Gamla Stan), also reflected in the water.  The painting is signed Ad. Jonsson and dated 1934.  The abbreviation Ad. can stand for Adjunct, which is the title of assistant professor, but it can also be an abbreviation of a name.  This painting’s neutral colors make it a great addition to any room needing a little European charm.
