Product Details
This is a large Rosa Ljung piece of pottery. Shaded as a head with room for a plant or fresh flowers. Rosa Ljung was a proliferic potter on the west coast of Sweden (1917 – 1983). She was most active in the 1960’s and 70’s in Helsingborg, Sweden. Her work is beloved by Swedes and many other nationalities and there are now known Rosa Ljung collector clubs in Scandinavia, the US and Japan. This is a vintage piece in good shape, with some crackling and a small chip missing from on the bottom. However, the chip can only be seen when holding the piece upside down. This hand-made pot is more sculpture than that planter, but could be used as either. It is numbered 3 of 672 on the bottom.
